The lackluster crown atop her head shined mockingly, pain radiating within each step, each breath more painful than the last. Soon enough, only a few steps past the border, she faltered and fell, a frustrated mumble leaving her. Humiliation. For what she did and what had become of her. What he did, how he got away with hurting her and the blame that was placed on the goddess' shoulders. Another wheeze left her, night sky body covered by a void blackness that was her cloak, only her head revealed, the belt of Orion dotted across her forehead, dozens more small white flecks decorating her cheeks. White eyes gained a gentle blue hue and she lifted them up to look around. Now... where was she? Two beings, seemingly from far away, burdening with what appeared to be the same pain. Although Atbash had by now accepted the fate of her home Dimension, she still felt at fault for not being there enough for Caesar. Not convincing him enough. Not letting him vent enough. There was guilt that Atbash still lived with, even if she tried to push it away. An unfamiliar scent on the wind is what brought the coyote here, her ears pricked as she searched for the stranger in their territory. Eventually, Atbash would see Starmap in the distance, watching her for a moment as she watched her stumble and fall. Atbash winced and then decided to come closer and reveal herself. "Hey there," She spoke gently. "You're on Tanglewood territory. Are you alright?" female coyote | shaderunner [shp] of tanglewood | "speaking" | thoughts | "telepathically speaking" © madi

A blueish black paw reached forward and she forced herself up a bit, a small stain of white-ish liquid, iridescent in the light, where her chest had lay. She blinked, trying to find words for a moment. Then she shook her head. [color=#bc44c5]"Ah.. not entirely alright. Confused and such." She shrugged, pained smile across her star-dusted face. Tanglewood. Well, she wasn't in Etheria anymore. [color=#bc44c5]"I'm called Starmap, and.. is there a medic here? I just need some herbs, I can apply them myself." The black void of a cape rippled gently as she moved to sit down again. "Ah, yeah, there is." Atbash responded with a frown. "Are you able to walk? You can lean against me if you need to, just might be easier to be able to find Moth in town." Of course, if Starmap wasn't able to, the Shaderunner could easily send out a telepathic message. female coyote | shaderunner [shp] of tanglewood | "speaking" | thoughts | "telepathically speaking" © madi
Re: I'd give anything to hear - Joining - rhosmari - 04-06-2021 The woman was feeling oddly tired now a days. The trials of she supposed leadership. But she was dealing with it and she was making the most of it. Which was pretty good if she said so herself. Things had become quiet for the moment and she was inclined to believe that Tanglewood would have some peace. Just a little bit but truly that was all she asked for, all she prayed for. It was tiring being openly attacked by the Pitt and they continued to say it was just a few certain members. It was tiring dealing with all the death they were being subjected to. Shaking herself the lioness walked through the swamp when she came upon the scene of the two. Eyes of crystal blue focused on the stranger and then to Atbash as she wondered what this was all about. Certainly she knew that the stranger may be a joiner but they also didn't look too well. "Heading back to town?" She asked casually before she turned and decided to go back herself. After she could find out about their newest arrival that way. "What's her name? She can call her Elsweyr." She set her eyes upon it, quiet for a moment before blinking herself aware and grasping it with a paw. She stood up, directing her white gaze to Atbash for a moment. [color=#bc44c5]"I should be able to walk from here to your town." though she was genuine, she also didn't feel the need to request help from mortals (not knowing Atbash was a demon) just yet. Setting her crown atop her head again she frowned slightly. [color=#bc44c5]"Starmap. A pleasure to meet you, Elsweyr." there was a gentle whisper, someone trying to speak but unable. She shook her head and nodding to Elsweyr as she walked toward the lioness. Atbash gave Starmap a short nod to show she heard the other, though her attention quickly went to Elsweyr as the Luminary came over. Looking over at Elsweyr made her unaware of Starmap's crown falling off of her head, though she did noticed Starmap adjusting the crown as she looked back over. "We are." The coyote replied to Elsweyr, turning around to face the direction of camp. "Is Moth in town? Starmap is a bit injured." She asked next, nodding in the woman's direction before flicking her tail to signal Starmap to follow. female coyote | shaderunner [shp] of tanglewood | "speaking" | thoughts | "telepathically speaking" © madi
