It was about time she got settling in, wasn't it? Gordon didn't mind staying in her makeshift den, but she did need a home for her pet; being out in the cold certainly wouldn't do Velvet any good. It wasn't hard to notice, though, that the majority of the Tribe didn't actually have dens - they slept out in the open. I'd love to do that. But she needed to make sure Velvet had a safe place to stay first. Being a nocturnal creature wasn't good when Gordon liked to be out-and-about during the day.
The small she-cat had found a spare den made from one of the roots of the large tree that overlooked camp. Carrying moss with her in her mouth, Gordon would work on making a little nest for herself and one for Velvet, higher up in the roots of the tree. She'll enjoy that, I think. Sugar gliders did like being in high places, after all - even if it wasn't exactly high for Gordon.[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

The hybrid was padding close to the river, a simple tone sounding from him. His mismatched gaze swept across the area, catching sight of Gordon off next to the dens. Kainan easily made his way over, making his steps louder to notify the small feline that he was approaching as to not startle her. “Hello Gordon,” he greeted, dipping his head slightly.
“I hope you’ve been settling in well, I see you’ve found a den?” He questioned, head tilting to the side. He was always curious to see who of his members preferred to sleep in dens and who outside, not that he would ever judge just more out of curiosity and the need to see if more dens needed to be formed.

Although Gordon didn't know Kainan's intent with making himself known, she still appreciated it nonetheless. It wasn't hard to hear a massive hybrid, but it was still good to know who was around regardless. Maybe one day she would learn to identify her tribemates based on the way they walked. Although... wasn't that typically a bad thing? You're just protecting yourself, is all.

"I-I have, I think I might s-stay outside sometimes like everyone else though." As she spoke her next words, she flicked her tail to where she set Velvet's mini-home, where the marsupial was currently sleeping. "Velvet needed a place to s-stay while I interact with the-the Tribe, y'know?"[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

The compliment Vanya gave wasn't much, but it still made Gordon feel rather proud of herself and the home she choose. It was comfortable, at least for her, and would provide her some safety. Sleeping out in the open would take a while for her to get comfortable with, even with tribemates around. Gordon smiled at Vanya as she replied, "Th-thank you. If-if you're willing to spare some blankets, th-that would be n-nice, too."[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

An ear swiveled backwards at the sound of Vanya approaching, his head turning slightly to peer over at the Realm Jumper before turning his attention back towards Gordon. He waited forever his turn to speak, nodding at what was being said. “I’m sure I have a few blankets in my den I can spare as well, I don’t use them as much since I regulate a higher body temperature,” he mused. Which was true, since he was half dragon and all he kept an elevated body temp. This was great for colder nights and the tribe still wanted to sleep outside, what could he say he was a sucker for cuddling.
