✯ — peek-a-boo! this is new, is this love?
space
Irene had been wandering for a while hoping to find a place to stay. Her memory only goes back a few weeks, she doesn't know anything about where she is supposed to be or what she's doing.
After walking for what appears to be ages, she finds herself on the outskirts of a city. Even though she just found a safe place, she becomes cautious as she enters the city's limits. She does not see many faces as she walks, it feels like it's a ghost town or as everyone is hiding.
Irene ends up in an alley between two buildings, it is damp and doesn't smell the best. She sits on a dry spot of land against a wall, hoping to be able to sleep here for the night.

Re: play the game again - open, joining - Amren - 05-26-2018

[b][color=#414a4c]"Where'd you come from, girl?"

The sly voice belonged to none other than Amren Archeron. She would take a step out from the shadows that she had been relaxing within in, smoking silver eyes smoldering with curiosity. It was unusual, partaking in something like this, but she had decided to attempt to be a little more involved in her own peoples politics. It had been thousands of years since she'd given a shit about anyone save herself. She needed to spice things up again.

[color=#414a4c]"You seem... new. The name's Amren Archeron and this is Blackfall," She extended, crossing pale arms over her chest. She was good with faces, exceptionally so, and could almost guarantee that this individual had never been here before. She didn't have that classic Blackfallen edge to her, not yet anyways. It was the woman's biggest indicator that she was new. [color=#414a4c]"Will you be staying with us, girl?"

Re: play the game again - open, joining - CAIN - 05-26-2018

”I’m sure that “girl” has a name,” Cain drawled slowly as he took a step forward out of nothing, mist swirling briefly at his feet in an indication that he was dream walking. Call him lazy if you want, but what was the point in walking all the way across the damn city to engage a stranger when he could take a little short cut through the dream world? That’s right, there wasn’t one. His sea-green stare slid over Amren briefly, vaguely amused — “down, girl” he might have said, if he got the impression she was being any more threatening than she currently was. She seemed welcoming enough, even if he got the vague sense that she would stick a knife in this newcomer’s ribs with very little prompting.

Turning his analytic stare on the girl, he studied her for a moment before offering a slow, easy grin. ”I’m Cain. We’d be happy to have you, if you’re looking for a new family.” That’s what the militia was, in his eyes — or at least, that’s how he liked to pose it.

Re: play the game again - open, joining - Thomas - 05-28-2018

[align=center][div style=" background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 530px; min-height: 9px; font-family:; line-height: 110%; text-align: justify; padding: 20px"]Enter Thomas. The young man strolled forward, a curious look perched on his features. Back home, he had dealt with these events before, serving as his father's right hand with matters such as this. He would often direct new families to vacant lots on which they might build homes. Before he had completely given himself to the royal army, he was tasked with ensuring their members were fairing nicely. Father had insisted on it, for it made the monarchy look generous, helping out the small folk. Thomas did it because it was the right thing to do; he needed no reward for his actions, and he did not enjoy when his father praised him for it.

"Greetings, miss," the former prince said. "My name is Thomas Dubois." He presented her with a smile in order to show they all meant no harm. The girl before them appeared lost and frightened, so it was best not to scare her. [color=#987A65][b]"Cain, we might ought to give her shelter for the night. Regardless of her joining or not, she is exhausted. Sleep and a roof over her head may do her well."
