UNTIL YOUR COLORS RUN — o, north end - guts - 06-15-2018

Adrian wasn't the most well-behaved, that much was obvious. He never had been, even as a kid. Some could even say that it was worse when he was younger. He was known to bite, curse, and throw fits. Now he just got into fights with other teens and went wherever he wanted, when he wanted. Compared to back then, he had improved...somewhat. But he could still definitely be considered a problem child.

He knew his behavior didn't give his family a good name, especially his mother. He knew that he probably made them all look like fools, and a part of him felt bad about it. But he also couldn't help the way he practically searched for trouble most of the time. Even if he didn't, it would normally find him instead. There was really no escaping the endless cycle of bad behavior.

The male grunts as he leans against one of the buildings in the town, sliding down until he was sitting with his knees pulled up to his chest. He rubbed at his nose, which was still painfully gushing with blood after the fight he had earlier. He was still battered and bruised, but he didn't intend on going home, not wanting to face his mother. Instead he continued to wipe away the red liquid with his sleeve and watched from his position as civilians passed by.

RED QUEEN ✧ Morrigan — High Queen — North End
Morrigan was well aware that her son had been considered a problem child. She did not care much for that title, nor did she see Adrian as a problem. His father had seen him as more of a problem. So he had beaten Morrigan secretly for "not raising their son well". She had done all of North End a huge favor by putting her husband to rest, forever.

The Queen had been walking the town, when she had noticed her child- all bruised and bloody. Her lips curved into a big frown and she headed his direction. "My son, inform me of who has done this to you. I will make it clear that no harm may be placed upon me or you while we are in charge. And go see a doctor for your injuries, Adrian."

Once when he was maybe six or seven, he had caught his mother after his father had hit her for his behavior. He had stolen a piece of jewelry to give her, but in doing so he had only caused her pain. After that, he had tried to clean up his act, but of course, it hadn't lasted long. Only a few days later did he get into a scuffle with one of the village kids. He hated to know that he was always getting Morrigan in trouble, too, but he couldn't help himself. Not when the other kids were such assholes.

Adrian curses under his breath as he spots her, quickly getting to his feet and nearly falling flat on his face in the process. He plasters a large grin on his face, ignoring the pain that suddenly flared up in his lip as he did so. "It's fine, really! Just some guy being an ass," he scratches at the back of his neck as he speaks. He had hoped she wouldn't catch him, at least not right away. But mothers always found out one way or another.

RED QUEEN ✧ Morrigan — High Queen — North End
Morrigan had kept that piece of jewelry that her son had given to her, though she had gone back and paid for it. Of course, she did not tell her son about that. She had put it in her jewelry box, which had been a family Heirloom from her mother's side. If she ever had a daughter that became the Queen of North End, she would give her daughter the jewelry box.

Morrigan would frown as he got up, almost falling face-first onto the ground. She would gently grab him by his chin and she lifted his face, studying his face. She would poke the tender spot on his lip, and shake her head. "Get some ice for your lip. Now."
