do you remember | meeting 8/1 - pallid-i - 08-01-2018

One Chance
"My friends, I ask that you join me in the Plaza of the Dead." Yes Man yowled with a big grin as he stood on the raised platform that looked down upon the plaza. Ah, the Pitt's first meeting. This was just so exciting! Er.. For him at least. Should he wait for his clanmates to gather or..? Nah, he was just gonna go ahead with it. He was simply just too excited.

"Alright! I know we're just starting out but we've made a lot of progress and I'm proud of each and every one of you precious little things! So much so that I want Toga to step up and be one of my warpriests!" She made him uncomfortable, but wouldn't it be ideal to have her on his side? Constantly? Yeah, it would. Surely the pallas cat would accept. She seemed like the type to want power of some kind anyways. Anyways, on another note.. "Dante and I have been going to the big four groups! I'd like for the rest of you all to visit the smaller clans and tell them what we're all about! Got it, kiddos?" Maybe he should stop now, and actually wait now that the more important things had been said... Yeah.

[div style="width: 400px; line-height: 100%; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; color: black;"]The Plaza of the Dead? Now- that was quite an interesting name for a part of the territory. A rather gleeful look on her facial features, Toga would bounce up to the scene, smirking as well. Yellow-eyes would focus on Yes Man as the Ardent began to speak. He wanted her to become one of the Warpriests? How exciting! And he had also said some other things about him and Dante going to other groups? Maybe she could visit the snowy place and bother Scaly and his friends again.

Toga would happily spin around in a quick circle before she spoke up, excitement in her voice clear and blush growing on her face from her sudden excitement. "I accept!"

Re: do you remember | meeting 8/1 - DANTE NORTHWEST. - 08-01-2018

Strange, how Dante found himself liking The Pitt despite how obvious it was that he shouldn’t. After all, he was a shark hybrid, he should be near the ocean, like The Typhoon, but here he was... living in a desert. Dante strangely liked it here, though he did hate how water was miles away from this place. Ah, well. It wouldn’t hurt to travel occasionally.

Hearing Yes Man’s call, the strange feline made his way over and took a seat right as the leader made his announcements. Toga was promoted to Warpriestess, and the only other announcement was about him and Yes Man going around to the much larger groups. Yeah, I’m gonna sit out for this one. Dante thought to himself with a flick of one of his ears. He thought he deserved it, at least.

WORDS I SPIT OUT WHEN THE FRUSTRATION TAKES ME, THERE'S NO TAKING THEM BACK NOW, THAT I KNOW
Sometimes he thought he would have preferred a desert over Snowbound's chilly tundra, but really, he was dying out here, too. His fur was too short for the cold, but his mane was too thick for the heat. Plus his scarf wasn't helping matters. But he had other things to focus on currently, such as kicking someone's ass. He could understand Atbash not wanting to get involved with the Typhoon, but this was unacceptable. Some might have seen them as weaklings that were afraid to hold their own, and he was here to prove them wrong, that there were ones that weren't afraid to get their paws dirty.

Aizawa kept an eye out as he walked through the sand, the scent becoming stronger as he came across a jungle oasis, the lull of water only encouraging his thirst. But he held off, swallowing to try and dry his throat, then continued further into whoever's territory this was. When he had confronted Stryker, he had said something along the lines of the Pitt. It was an ominous name, but considering how few people he saw, he wasn't very intimidated. Even so, he kept low, stalking through their camp until the faint sound of voices caught his ears. From the looks of it, they were having a meeting.

The lion stuck to the shadows, hiding in the underbrush and luckily coming up just behind what seemed to be their leader, his claws unsheathing before he leaps forward and aims to crash into Yes Man. If he succeeds, he aims to hold him down with one paw on his throat, claws inches away from digging into his flesh.

He stares up at the members surrounding them, glare hard and his lips curling. "Don't move. I don't think you want your leader's throat sliced, do you?" he threatens and presses down harder on the tom's neck for emphasis. Hopefully he wouldn't end up crushing his windpipe on accident.

He was not expecting an attack on him, so when he was pinned down by a random stranger, he made a surprised noise. Yes Man, however, continued to smile and his tail flicked back and forth. "Maybe I deserve this! It is quite the predicament after all.. The scent is familiar!" He said, but fell silent as the claws pressed closer to his throat. The ardent looked at his clanmates and blinked several times. What was he supposed to do? What were his clanmates supposed to do?

[div style="width: 400px; line-height: 100%; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; color: black;"]Oh? It was one of the members from the snowy-group? So maybe she would have some fun right now? Toga would jump to her paws as she noticed Aizawa had lunged forward and crashed into Yes Man- wrapping one of his front paws over the Ardent's neck. Despite Aizawa's threats that he could kill Yes Man on the spot, the pampas cat would try to attack the former UA teacher.

Fortunately, she had brought a knife along with her, as she liked having weapons on her most of the time. Grinning in a manic manner, Toga would attempt to throw her dagger in Aizawa's direction, hoping for it to hit his chest or another part of his body. Then she would stand still on the spot and watch to see what would happen next, for possible entertainment for herself.

SMOKED A PACK OR TWO, IT NEVER WAS A PROBLEM —
Oh, Dante recognized that scent, though he barely had time to register it as Aizawa burst through their camp and went after their leader. The hybrid immediately got his paws, curling his lips in a snarl. He watched as Toga aimed to throw her dagger at him, so the Strong Arm went off in a separate direction and ran at [member=445]aizawa[/member] , trying to knock the male away from Yes Man.

Sagacious olive eyes sweep across the assembled bodies with mild boredom. Not very many people yet. The desert is not exactly a place very many people want to be, but newcomers will arrive eventually. The solitary cougaress tunes back into the announcements. A promotion and some tasks, huh? Maybe she will tag along with one of the groups to visit the other clans or whatever. Melantha is torn from her thoughts when a stranger suddenly attempts to attack Yes Man. Everyone leaps into action--Dante and Toga already handling the intruder so Mel positions herself between Yes Man and the danger. Something about the intruder is...familiar. The face, maybe? But the huntress cannot be sure, for her memories only extend for about two months and then there is just...nothingness. Oh well. Her job is to protect the leader, not puzzle over her missing memories.
