Oh, what a time to be alive. And this time he had retained his memories from his previous life, although a part of him was missing. A part of his soul. During the period of dormancy Leon had been in, there must have been some outside force that had interfered with him in a malicious way. It was strange that he had not been awoken by such a... ‘procedure’, if one could truly phrase it that way, but there must have been a skilled manipulator involved in this surgery on his soul of sorts.

Such a skill was something he wished to acquire for himself, and find the one responsible for this act. With a piece of himself missing he naturally felt even more hollow and a husk of a man than he had before. And this made him angry. He sook vengeance upon whoever had done this to him, and was set upon consuming the soul of the perpetrator(s) and taking back the part of himself that should have never been fucked with in the first place- a piece of his abomination of a soul.

However, upon testing to see whether or not he still had the ability to consume souls and gain their memories, he made the startling discovery that he no longer possessed such power any longer in this life. That... was troubling, to say the least. He needed to find a way to gain it back.

It was a good thing he had hung out around the unclaimed pieces of land that were neutral grounds, listening in with his enhanced senses to eves drop on the conversations of those who resided there. With this, he found out about a rumor of some kind of ‘quest giver’ that would give someone a task, and then reward them once the task had been complete.

It was a long shot, but if he wanted his memory stealing and manipulation abilities back, he would have to try all avenues, even the more... odd ones.

The well-dressed snow leopard sat patiently in an open area in the night, eyes and ears open for signs of life close by. He was looking for one of these fabled ‘quest givers’, in the hopes that they might give him something of value.

“My name is Leon Mercer. If there are any quest-givers around here, please make yourselves known. I have something I need to accomplish, and I heard you might be able to help.”
