it was over due. he needed to get his move on and thus, he headed out that night. into the desert alone as he could be. he had work to do and he wouldn't come back until he completed it. the lion was a showman. he was always going to be a show man. so, his task had to have some.. flair. as such, the male had a plan. he vanished into the night leaving nothing but a scent in his home.

hunting alone was fun. he was going to do his best. he was on day three alone already. honestly, he was having fun, but he was also tracking a herd. he wanted food. he needed it. he also needed bones to take home. so, he was on the move even still. only sleeping when it was to hot to be in the open.

he travelled a few days before he found his target. of course, it was a bit risky and he was not fully sure. the male took a deep breath and launched his attack. leaping in and sinking his claws into the beasts back. it was a struggle and he was not sure his choice from the herd was a good one. though, after some time, he brought down the camel.

his body hurt and he was sure that he would have bruises. now, he decided to feast on the thing. though the meat was not that great. it took a few more days to clean the bones he wanted to take. mainly the ribs, spine, and skull. though, once they were clean, he would head back to his home.

days later, the male would settle into the sands near his home. setting the bones down. he would let out a loud yawn and flop down. he would need a bath from the dust on his pelt. but, he was gone a week. what did they expect? him to focus on cleanliness.
