This is Halloween, everybody make a scene -

jack was alone and he rather liked that fact. being alone was peaceful and safe. he had no fear of showing emotions or happiness sneaking up on him. it was a life he could live until he died. if he died. death was not a real thing for him, as when he did pass in one form, he just came into the world as something new.

he had very little idea what happened to the ones that did not return. perhaps their soul died before they could? he was curious about it, but not going to ask anyone. who could he even ask? he just hoped he never had to find out about it. he had not died, yet, but his mother told him he would just come back again.

or, maybe, he had and had no idea about his past? the idea of not remembering his past and his loved ones hurt him. he did not want to forget them ever. he was fearful of it. the strange beast, mask on as always, would lay in the shadows with his glowing lizard friend. lost in thoughts no one would ever understand.
