So, the child grew, and the Demon stayed with them. They eventually became best friends and even lovers when the child, now a young adult, confessed their love to the Demon and the Demon returned their feelings to them. However, if there's a love story with a Human and a Demon, of course, tragedy will hit, and so, it did.

In the Demon's point of view, as they watched the Aries child grew, they gradually gained colours. They asked the Mortal if they could see any colours, but they said they was still seeing in monochrome. The Demon felt the other was lying and only assumed they didn't like to see them as their soulmate, which they didn't blame them ( but after the Mortal confessed their love to them, they were baffled the Mortal didn't choose to follow the function of the soulmate and wanted to be with them ).
The moment the Mortal was dying, however, the Demon slowly lost the colours and be put in the world of black and white once again, while in the Mortal's perspective, they were gaining colours. What they both didn't know is because the Demon is in fact a Demon, with their dark energy and auras, it messes up the function of soulmate, so instead of the Mortal seeing colours for the first time they saw the Demon, unlike vice versa, it's their last.

Despite the Demon's rude and snarky attitude, they took care of them and treated the Demon with affection. As the Demon couldn't bring themself to tell them, part of them thought maybe it would've been for the best if they chose not to say anything about the reincarnation for both of their sakes. It didn't matter either way when this Mortal was most likely going to leave them like their previous incarnation. They did.

On the twelfth hour, just half of an hour since the Mortal's twelfth incarnation was gone, they decided to give up and let their Mortal, if they were to be reincarnated once more, have their peaceful life without them being involved. Could they make the Mortal an Immortal so they wouldn't ever lose them again, but the thought of them having to suffer so much and not dying for the longest time like them horrified them.
Therefore, they took out their eyes, so they could no longer see the colours coming to them with the tragic memories, and moved on as they decided to get themself into making contracts while traveling through many dimensions to help them block everything about the Mortal and what they had together. It worked, only until they came to the dimension that made them turn into an animal while losing most of their powers, and where Ayon happened to be born on March 26, 2018, 13 days after the Demon's arrival: their one and only Mortal's thirteenth and possibly final incarnation.
Ayon accidentally summons the Demon one day when he's bored out of his mind and uses a stick to doodle on the ground with rocks around it before he accidentally cuts himself. When the Demon asks him what he wants, he only says he wants a friend because he doesn't have anyone but his family, and asks them if they're seeking to be his friend. They can be like "ehhhh", but he accepts the answer anyway as he'll be okay with that. The Demon will know who the Rosebloods are due to them being around in the dimension for a while, so knowing the concept of Daemons from their religion, they lie to Ayon saying they is so to intimidate him and he wouldn't want to interact with them anymore, but, while Ayon will be sort of convinced, because his curiosity can lead to danger and he believes not everyone is bad, he's...there with them still and, well, just wanna chill with them, if they're not up for any interactions.
After their first interaction, Ayon will summon them during nighttime everyday, and the Demon takes the gesture quite strange because they're so used to being called for the summoner's own advantages, as they're never viewed any more or less but just something who can make things happen. Therefore, the fact they're being summoned just because Ayon wants them to do whatever he have in store for the day that they won't mind partaking, or just having a silent moment together, is unusual, but after being summoned by them few more times, they start to look forward to seeing him again and start visiting him without being summoned.
As time progresss, the Demon will notice Ayon will be lacking sleep due to the dreams he have, which are based on his incarnations' past. They try prompt him to speak about it, but he's only brief about it, which upsets the Demon. Though, on March, 2019, this is when things starts to get extremely messy because it'd be close to finishing the main plot: Ayon realizes he have to get himself closely killed in the same scenario as his part incarnations, or have a specific body part of his almost destroyed, in a very specific time and place, otherwise something bad ( I haven't figured this part yet—maybe a Daemon wanting to take their soul? ) will happen to him. The Demon doesn't notice Ayon have been doing this to himself until they finds out he's planning to drown himself after he falls off the cliff, which is his final step.
However, the Demon tries to stop Ayon and explain everything that happened to him with the fact he reincarnated and left them, his former boyfriend, twelve times. Before Ayon can say anything to them, his time was up, and something happens that results him dying. Ayon wants to make a contract with the Demon so he can become a Demon and dodge death more easier for them, but the Demon refuses to do it because they fear Ayon will experience all of the suffering and hate they have to go through for being a Demon. Ayon insists on doing it, and they give up. When the Demon asks him what he wants, he tells them to push him off of the cliff with a promise they'll be together forever, and they don't have to say goodbye again.
They kiss with their lips bitten for their blood to be together in order for the contract to be done with Ayon's fate sealed, and the Demon pushes Ayon to the ocean for him to be taken away by the Hellhounds to Hell. Because Ayon will turn into a Demon like them, and it fully breaks the soulmate's function between them, so both of them will forever experience seeing in black and white until they die and finally be at peace.
