✧ * º • ☾DEVELOPMENT

First month: Fairly shy, still has all her baby feathers, horns are nowhere to be seen even as bumps under her skin. She'll start exploring by week three, though with little success on such tiny new legs. Even so, exploring means staying close to mom and exploring whatever's in 'reach'.

Second month: Adventure starts to take hold in a small amount, horns are starting to be seen as little nubs underneath the skin. She's beginning to stare up at the stars at night, though she hasn't really started speaking to anyone yet.

Third month: Pele is finally off mom and eating her own prey, wandering around close to the nursery. Roughhousing is now a thing and she's playing with whoever is in the mood. Speech is slowly becoming something she uses, and though she understands what people are saying sometimes nodding works just fine. Speaking rarely happens unless someone asks or says something that requires more than a nod.

Fourth month: Curious is the little one exposed to books. This is the month in which she chose her 'string' for her shard later on. Though she couldn't read much in the first half of the month, she was taught in the second half and spent most of her time reading astrology, astronomy and general books dictated towards the great sky. Her flight feathers are beginning to come in now as well.

Fifth month: Horns are painfully growing now, causing excruciating headaches. Pele spends most of her time in bed or in the Cleric's den for pain medications. She doesnt read much this month, but its not totally a month free of reading. She's poking around the Starpool, thinking about her pendant and what kind of shard she might chose, never fully settling on one since someone else might want it.

DESCRIPTION[b] sylva is very quiet and solitary. rather than being out and about, she'll be in her room, doing her own thing. however, despite her unwillingness to socialize, she's very kind-hearted. but she isn't the most confident. she gets very emotional over the smallest things, and because of it, she's very dependent on those around her, such as her mother and siblings.
