    she was close to her father. so very close to him and now, here she was without him. she was alone with her brothers in a place she was not to fond of. she only stayed for her family. she had to take care of her brothers. they needed her. she needed them. but that did not mean she could not be upset, did it? she missed him and she still slept in the dusty forge her father used.

cobwebs covering items they once used together. she stood in the cold dark room. tears stinging her eyes as a whimper left her. she couldn't leave this place behind. she couldn't handle feeling so lost without him. the woman turned sharply to go outside. knocking some tools over as she left the space. collapsing in the dirt outside. crying fully now.

I'M MEANER THAN MY DEMONS,

Seven had been without her parents for a long time. Even after her birth mother had died. Her birth father was cruel and harsh and a monster, and then Moth was a caring soul who loved Seven when she was a violent, senseless, scared beast. And now that Moth was gone, it had been years, Seven was left to tend to the wounded. Both mentally and physically.

She'd been fumbling slowly around camp when she heard the cries. Almost on autopilot, the Regent headed for the noises, finding herself looking at the crying outline of Lanyu. One of Zjarr's kids. She didn't know the hellhound, and didn't really care to, but a crying child could not go unchecked.

The blind tigress lowered her head, rumbling gently. "Child, what's wrong?"

    the canine lifted her eyes from the ground as she heard a voice. a womans voice, so hopes for it being her father were dashed. yet, the words of seven were gentle in tone. the child let her eyes fall again as she struggled to find words. how could she voice her pain in a way anyone would understand. he is gone, isn't he?

she looked up as if the older woman would have all the answers. the smithy is so cold and empty.. she felt her heart breaking. she was admitting it to someone, which in turn meant admitting it to herself. she knew what she said was true.

she just wanted to see her dad again.

lanyu. one of his kin. the language barrier was something he hated, something that made them not be able to understand him, but he could still read his sister's emotions clear as day. she had always been sleeping in the forge their father left behind, and it was there that he found her collapsed in a pile, sobbing her heart out into the sky. with a soft bark the male rushed over, stopping next to her and seven who had already asked for the problem. he understood their language but couldn't speak it properly himself yet, and a worried frown surfaced on his muzzle. "du hast mich, und deine andere Geschwister, lanyu!"

    the voice of her brother made her head turn. ears forward as she listened. she had no idea why he did not speak like her, but she knew what he said. she understood him. so, the canine moved closer and pressed to him. ears back as she looked at her paws. i know.. i love you guys.. i just miss him..
