The panther sighed through his upper mouth, six eyes watching the trees above him. Black feathered wings were folded neatly to his sides, fourteen long tails swaying in random intervals. The forest was dark and inviting for the stranger, though he stood just outside it. There were scent markers, to him they were primitive, but he didn't wish to intrude.

"Hello~?" His voice, scratchy from lack of use, called out into the open air. His tails spidered out into the air, curling around nothing, coiling around eachother in loose braids and then unraveling again to flow blindly in the air.

The Irishman had known a few kitsunes in his long life, but he couldn't say he's ever seen fourteen tails.  The pirate was willing to bet balance was not a problem for the panther, smirking lightly as he joined the Survivor at the border.

"Dia dhuit," he greeted with his usual grin.  Since the Survivor had asked the usual question, Séamus would simply let his sea-green eyes study the unique panther -- certainly wondering if he could manage a look like this himself through his shapeshifting.  Can't really appreciate it though.  Not without a mirror.

Six eyes brightened, two grins appeared on his maw as he saw the two approach, head dipping in greeting. "Hello. I am Melachi, just a humble traveler looking for a place to stay." He didn't look like a humble traveler - more like some war fighter. See, his body was muscled and built for fights. He had no scars, but the way his eyes shimmered told of stories, obscure and hidden.

"A pleasure to meet the two of you, I hope?" he chuckled, tilting his head a little. They certainly seemed... interesting. An Abyssial god could not be impressed by much, though.

"Why should we let you in?" The apprentice's voice spoke up suddenly in a rasp as he made his way over. The bandages around his throat felt too tight but they were helping to hold his blood in he guessed. His voice was neutral, but was very much guarded. Personally he was beginning to feel that they were too nice to strangers that they crossed paths with. His tail flicked with slight annoyance as he looked at the strange animal. He hadn't really heard his name being said but he just thought he looked like of funny, at least out of his good eye he thought he did. Slowly the gladiator would sit down and glance at the others that were here. Wondering what and or why it seemed everyone was comfortable with just anyone waltzing in. He was attacked recently by someone just coming in. Did they not care about that? Pain flared as he tried to swallow and he diverted his gaze back to the stranger once more.

The smiles dropped as Goldenpaw approached, six eyes focusing on the boy's bandages. A soft sigh left his mouth but he smiled again. "No, the boy has a point." His voice was softer, gentler. "I am honest - I mean no harm to anyone here. I promise." He looked at everyone. "Just trying to find a place to help keep safe and call home. Do you think I would be as dumb as to potentially take on a whole group?" But there was obvious hurt in the panther's eyes. He was used to being distrusted, but there was usually a reason. But, the boy did have a reason to distrust him, considering the bandages around Goldenpaw's throat.

"What do you mean why not?" The boy snapped as he shifted his gaze to where he could see Suvivor. Was it not obvious why he was questioning him in the first place. His gaze was heated for a moment  before he turned to look away. His tail lashed with agitation before he looked at the stranger who butted in and frankly he could care less about the hurt he was feeling for being questioned. The apprentice was tired of being taken advantage of and no one else was doing anything about it. So he would step up to fill that role himself. The only one he could trust to protect him was himself. That much was obvious. Shaking his head he would get up then and roll his eyes before turning to step away. "Sure, and not dumb. Just careless. Though it doesn't mean you wouldn't try to take someone out..." With that the kid left the scene, throat hurting and a bit tired. He would just go and take a nap. Clear his head.
