the kitten hadn't been around much these past few weeks. well, she had been around, just not close enough to see most others. she didn't do it on purpose! time had passed by quite quickly by accident. the energetic girl had gotten sick for a few days, and just had slept most of them to try and feel better, but then she felt really good! so good and full of energy that she needed to run! she needed to run all about the territory and do everything she could so get all the restlessness out of her body. but then she met a lot of friends from outside the clan!
they were good friends and they helped her get food! but, she didn't ever properly leave the territory with them because she didn't like being too far away, but she did stay pretty far out for a good few days, until they said they had to get moving again. but then she needed to find her way back. whoops. it took her a little bit to do that. but, that's okay! she did it! she was happy and healthy and felt good to be home again. she wanted to say hello to mama and papa right away, so that's what she would do! "helloooo?" the kitten called eagerly as she entered camp, nearly tripping over her paws.

NOTHING'S EVER LOST FOREVER, IT'S JUST HIDING IN THE RECESS OF YOUR MIND AND WHEN YOU NEED IT, IT WILL COME TO YOU AT NIGHT. I MISS THE YELLOW. I MISS THE YELLING AND THE SHAKEDOWN. I'M NOT COMPLAINING, NO, I GOT A BETTER SET OF KNIVES NOW. I MISS MY DRUMMER, MY DEAD STEPBROTHER, AND THE PIT CROWD. AND CHUCK AND MATTY - IF THEY COULD SEE ME THEY'D BE SO PROUD.
