Blindness had stolen 2 years of her life. Yes, she counted it. The world was dark for a little over two years, aside from the outlines of Tanglers that she spotted day to day. She never saw the color of one's pelt, or their eyes, or even the color of the sky or earth she walked on. The memory of such things had begun to fade. Jealously often set in as she heard how people complimented someone's looks, paired with moments of grief afterward.

Seven let out a loud huff, bordering that of a sob, as she sat down. It was whenever she was alone, walking the territory using paths she mapped out, that the feelings felt heaviest on her shoulders. Claws dug into the soft earth beneath her as she knashed her teeth. Tears, a translucent blue, welled up in her eyes. Her body shook as quiet sobs escaped her body, and she lowered herself so that she was laying on the ground.

Taking a deep breath, the tigress exhaled in short bursts, quietly cursing herself for feeling this way. But why wouldn't she feel this way - she was robbed of the privelige that was sight, and no matter what she could do, she could never replace it.

gods, the past 2 years. those were fun, hilarious, and she hadn't changed whatsoever. just as immoral, just as nearly immortal. the female was feeling every single second of her youth. she had a grin on her mouth until she heard a sob.

following the source of the sound she found karma, looking dejected as all hell, feeling probably like shit. she didn't know enough about seven to be able to gauge what was up with her, but she was jealous. jealous of the peace and freedom others had. but little did she know seven was blind. oblivious to sights but hyper-aware to everything else she should enjoy life. kiara shook out her fur, the coyote scurried over to the tigress. "hey, you okay?"

Blind.

That word held a lot of meaning to the wyvern, and yet he was never sure why. Corrupttimelines had always held the privilege of sight. And yet, hearing about blindness, or so much as observing the word. Well..it hurt him dearly. There was something about the all too common ailment that made his heart strings twist and rip as if they were trying to escape their flesh prison. He considered himself incredibly lucky to not have been blind, and mournful to those who were.

Today had been another typical day, that is until Cory heard sobbing. Slowly, the large beast would lumber over, glancing upon the duo seated together. Slowly settling down beside Seven, he would look to them with almost defeat in his eyes. He dared not to repeat the question already given life by Kiara. Instead, he awaited a response.

Words reached the Tigress, and needless to say she panicked slightly. Head swung around until she recognized, by both outline and scent, the presences of Kiara and Cory. She blinked, though glassy eyes saw nothing except black and white outlines against said black. "I..." She sniffled, rubbing her nose with a paw sloppily. "Yes. I'm okay." She said, rather unconvincingly. Lowering a shaking paw, she refrained from leaning against Cory.

a little hurt that the female chose to lean against cory instead of her she sniffed but shook it off. seven seemed really startled as they approached, and kiara cast a glance at the wyvern who approached with her. she pursed her lips, flicking her tail. "doesn't seem like it, seven. what's wrong?"

blindness, luckily, it was something that the grim had not encountered himself but he had treated those in the past with it. his own ... disability for lack of better word would make it hard to interact with the blind, but that didn't stop the tom from trying. blindness was a curse, as was the lack of a voice, but he knew the pain that seven felt. having his sight taken away in temporary means was a terrifying thing, even when he knew that he eventually would have it returned but being without a voice and sight? that was beyond terrifying.

pausing to shake his fur out, the grim licked his lips softly before continuing his approach as the sound of words and sobs greeted his swiveling ears. blinking as he pushed out of the greenery, rubbing against the leaves in order to make a sound to announce his presence to the blind tigress. breathing out with a soft expression on his face, one that the others could see but not seven. he walked forward to join kiara and cory, settling neatly before wrapping his tail about his paws. his words written into the dirt could offer little comfort to the one who could not read them if he wrote them.
