He felt like shit. Simple as that.

The tiger walked on dragging feet into the tavern, head pounding after yet another sleepless night. Hauling himself onto a stool, he did his usual and dropped a couple of coins. When the mug thumped the counter, he took it seamlessly and downed it. And the cycle repeated. A good thing he could actually hold his liquor; all that time drinking and singing songs in his youth seemed to do some good. Practically on his fourth or fifth mug and still capable of decent thought.

His ears flicked and he could at least guess that someone was coming up next to him. But he didn't care and lifted the sixth mug to his lips. Red eyes stared into the ale within and he huffed.

the knight worried her. silent were her pawsteps on the floor, and she held the silence with a shook of her head at the request for a drink from the bartender as she sat down next to gawain. her knight? he huffed into his drink and she cocked her head. the sin frowned. "gawain, what is causing this?" her soft voice should act as something comforting.

"hell if i know." he rumbled, drinking down the mug and setting it aside. "I think thats enough for me, at least for now." he forced a smile and looked at Kiara. "whats causing my drinking?"

He shrugged. A lot of things were.

he said he didn't know why he was doing this either and her gaze followed the cup as it landed on the table with a heavy thud. "come with me, gawain. let us go for a walk, knight." get him some fresh air, and should he need to stumble about then it would give her opportunity to get close and prop him up. "burying your muzzle in a drink is unhealthy."
