THE MOON'S WATCHING OVER— She wasn't sure why this had been the first thought that occurred to her. A book club. She'd been meaning to set one up to try and get the community involved in her 'new' bookstore but now wasn't the time for book clubs. However, now was the time where people needed secret, unassuming places to discuss very illegal and important things. So, she'd made flyers and even picked out a book to advertise the group and she'd gone to those she knew to be Griffingate citizens. The people she saw on the street every single day yet barely even said hello to. She personally invited them and, once being sure that no one else was near, she explained it's true purpose. That they would meet to find a way to get Blackfall out and, more importantly, save Freddie. Well, at least it was the more important part for her. She'd never been one for politics and having one group leading her over the other wasn't a problem. She just wanted her friend back. In any case, she'd invited as many people as she could think of and she'd made plenty of cookies and brownies and just baked goods in general to make it look like a proper book club (after all, what would such events be without snacks?). Now all that was left to do was wait for the interested parties to arrive. She quietly adjusted some of the pillows on a chair and settled down, anxiously breaking apart a peanut butter cookie as she did so. —YOU AND YOUR DREAMS

Abella had awoken very early in the morning and to her surprise, she had found a invitation to Eliora's book club at her doorstep. She had made her way to the bookstore and noticed a small group of others inside. She would enter and take a seat down, nodding her head towards the other woman in greeting.

Bullshit.

Abraham grabbed a flier as soon as he saw one, ripping it to shreds within his hands in seconds. There were no peaceful 'book clubs' during this monstrosity, especially from such a rebellious community. A grimace spread across his face. They were going to get themselves killed. Truly, he knew he had to show up though. Without support, Griffingate would fall and they would be led by that unsweetened, cocky fool by the name of Cain.

Arriving soon enough, he slammed the door open and stepped inside. Brown eyes scanned the room, spotting two familiar faces, but no one he knew personally just yet. Slightly uncomfortable, the drug-hugger let out a snort. "Well?" he demanded. "When are we gonna start this book club?" 'If it's even that.' Well, if it wasn't, then he just walked into a random club he had no interest in and demanded it to start quite harshly. With that said, he shifted a hand to his hip and leaned up against a bookshelf. "Let's get this on the road." An furrowed brow rose questionably.

THE MOON'S WATCHING OVER— Eliora smiled and have a light nod as Abella entered, her eyes dropping briefly to the book she held in her hands. Was she really going to do this? She hadn’t cared about much since Alexander and Ivy had been taken from her and was this the right way to reenter society? And what was she even trying to do? Lead some sort of army? She had no military training, she didn’t have the first idea of how to get her friend back, but here she was. Her only intention was to gather people together and then find a proper leader for this rebellion- Abella would be much better suited for it- but what if they didn’t happen? What if she was forced to make all the decisions? To do the very thing she hated and try to siege some sort of war? It all felt wrong but she wasn’t sure what to do about it.

She was soon pulled from her thoughts when she heard Abraham’s voice. She recognized him but didn’t know him well. At his harsh words, her calm visage barely cracked and she gestures to one of the chairs. ”Take a dear, Abraham. Have a cookie. And, to answer your question, right now I suppose.” Though her words and expression was calm, she pressed her hands harder into the book and anxiously ran her fingers through the pages. ”Well, first of all, there’s more of them than there are of us and we don’t have the particular... skill sets they do so a direct fight isn’t going to work. We’ve got to be more clever than that. For that reason, I say we stay compliant for now and try to get closer to them. If their guard is down, we could catch them by surprise eventually, maybe. A primary concern needs to be getting Freddie out, I think, though. That’ll require a small group of people while we find some way to distract the Blackfallen. I know how to pick locks, so that could be useful.” She paused for a moment, her stomach turning with each word. She didn’t like how aggressive all those words sounded. It wasn’t like her. She didn’t really want to hurt anyone, she just wanted Freddie to be safe. ”I was also thinking we could reach out to that other group- North End- and ask for their help. I heard that they asked Freddie for an alliance. Maybe it’s time for them to prove they really want it.” —YOU AND YOUR DREAMS

"I'll be fine standing," he answered back quickly. The faster, the better. They were not here to discuss their daily woes, but instead the fate of the country around them. Abraham didn't feel as if he needed to sit to do so. Instead, he would hold his head high and loom over the situation as if he was the mastermind of the situation.

As she spoke, he listened to her every word. "Making your enemies closer, it seems," Abraham muttered lowly to himself, thinking of how that would help them in this situation. Creating bonds that would only break isn't productive. Rather destructive, really. Though, he was not one to say he didn't like it, as that'd be a lie. Even so, there had to be a better way to uncomplicate the plan and bring home their leader successfully. Coming to his senses, he spoke. "We could pull a reverse Blackfallen." Finally, he wandered over to the table and placed his balled up fists face down on it's surface as he began to sat down. Things were getting serious. "I believe we should pull our own rebellion," came his suggestion. "Cause a distraction over here by rioting or something of the sort." He gestured to one side of the table with a pointed finger. "Then a smaller group over here-" He tapped at the other side. "-rescuing our leader from the Blackfallen quarters." Though, there was a small chance of success. They needed to plan this out accordingly... or else. "But we would need to scope out the place first," he pointed out as he continued."Our own spies would not hurt." Who around here would be willing to take such a pitiful risk though? Abraham had little to no country pride, but figured it was for the best if his life was in the clear. Plus, this gave him a rush. Bonus.

Nails drumming at the table's surface now, he nodded. "Pulling in the North End would be significant." With that said, his eyes scanned the room in hopes that someone would add to his ideas.

He seemed rather pissed off that they were having a so-called "book club" during this takeover. Abella had felt slightly angered by the sight of the book-club poster at her doorstep, but she had decided to show up.

The woman had remained silent in order to hear Eliora and Abraham's ideas. A rescue mission for Frederick. A distraction for the Blackfallen. A spy. Somebody to pay a visit to North End to get help. All ideas had seemed alright, in her opinion. Abella would lift up her head high and look at Abraham.

"Another suggestion, we could light up a fire where the enemy is currently staying, unless it's one of our own buildings. It could possibly scare off a few of them back to their own home." She would say, before adding. "I can be a spy."

"I'm sure one house that can grant us partial freedom wouldn't hurt to burn down," came Abraham's harsh words. "Burn it if necessary." For now, he didn't know who would be burning what, but with those words, he was completely willing to do so. "I can take it up if there are no arguments..."

"Then head there and investigate, Abella. Gain their trust and break them from the inside." Unlike the Blackfallen, she was powerless. She could not shapeshift, nor do any fancy magic, but the best she could do was change her name and hope that she wasn't noticed.
