AINE ♔
"Aine is my daughter.  No one makes me more happy or proud than her -- she'll be an amazing druid one day, and a strong, capable leader.  I don't know how long she'll remain a child, but I will see to it that she grows up safe and strong.  She is all I have and I don't plan on losing her."
Aine is a King, in the game of chess; the piece that decides when the game is won.  Gael cares for nothing and no one more than he does his daughter and he will go to any length necessary to protect her -- no sacrifice is too great if it protects Aine.

KYDOBI ♖
"Kydobi.  If I have a friend among the Pitt, it must be him.  Simply, I trust the jaguar enough, or respect him at least.  He obviously cares about Aine, and she has grown attached to him.  I know, should something happen to me, he'll protect her and that is what matters.  It helps, of course, that he makes her happy too -- she has found a worthy ally to call friend."
In a game of chess, Kydobi is a Rook.  A piece essential to the support of other pieces, and more valuable than pawns, bishops and knights.  Gael has seen Kydobi exhibit true care for Aine, deeming him a worthy ally in consequence.  He would not necessarily go to great lengths for the other, but he is more inclined to keep an eye on the jaguar and ensure he doesn't die again, for Aine.
