The legend goes that long ago, the forest was home to four Clans of wild cats known as warriors. These cats lived in constant competition with one another, and eventually drove each other to extinction on one bloody, moonlit night. There were few survivors, and they chose to scatter for fear that they would be slaughtered as well.

Most cats dismiss these as nothing but stories, meant to entertain kits and keep them out of trouble. Even so, some say that the blood of warriors still runs through the veins of cats living in the nearby territories. There are even a few ambitious souls who want to bring the Clans of myth back to their former glory. Will you help them?

The Clan Renaissance is a play by post roleplay forum based on the Warriors series by Erin Hunter, with an overall goal of providing a realistic experience while still allowing for creative and entertaining storytelling. It takes place in the forest territories, and is a complete alternate universe from the books.
