the captain's absence had been noticeable, but the siren hadn't exactly been around himself. well, that and he just couldn't give more of a crap at the time he'd arrived, and had been quite heavily injured but under care from the others, he had recovered enough to wander about the territory. it was a wonderful place when the sun wasn't beating down, as if intent on burning everything under its burning gaze, alive.

the sound of coughing and sneezing reached his ears, closer to the ship, searching about the sands below. lifting his head at the call for a meeting, a bit of concern in his eyes as the blond wolf-bodied siren moved to the docks where he settled and put his gaze upon Morrison, "you feeling any better, Cap?", he couldn't ignore the messy appearance of the other. not that he had any say in anything the Captain did or didn't do.
