graphic gore ★ genderfluid ★ tiger skeleton
The tiger skeleton slipped through the crowd. That was how Vale saw it, but the truth was the crowd parted for the ardent. With an eye staring from between each rib and a crown of fire where vis ears should’ve been, Vale’s style was eye-catching and unmistakably vis own.

And doubled as the only form of flirting (if it could even be considered flirting) Vale used. Had Vale shed vis body’s flesh on the plaza’s outer edges because ve saw xem? Yes. But ve considered it done as a whim rather than a flirtation strategy.

Vis paws’ bones tapped the stones as ve walked behind Brymstone. Ve wasn’t trying to be stealthy, and ve didn’t need to speed up at all to catch up with the skullfaced feline after their jaw dislodged.

“Do you need help putting it back in place? I’ve been there. Many times.” Vale stopped to Brymstone’s left as ve offered. Vis head tilted to the right, and ve stared. Without flesh, the eyes upon vis skull and down vis ribcage couldn’t blink, but ve licked the leftmost one clean.

Vale shifted forward and lifted a paw, as if to touch Brymstone’s face, but stopped verself. Without permission, it was just as impolite to pop someone’s joint in place as to pop it out.
