okay, maybe this was not her best moment. she had heard a thump earlier and went out to investigate and now she was looking at a dead bird with rather pretty feathers. it was young in age and she felt bad for it. it seemed to have flown into the tree and misjudged the landing. it was sad, but it was life. some mistakes cost you and flying head first into a tree was one of those mistakes. so, what could she do?
the sadness she felt made her realize that she should try to something to cheer herself up. so, she picked the dead bird up and carried it home. dropping it with someone else's catch and sighing. after a moment, she realized how fragile life was. so, she made the choice to do something for her friends and family.
going into her little corner of the nursery, she would set to work. pulling wire, gems, shells, and some beads she got from a merchant passing through. that npc had been super helpful. now, she was stringing necklaces together. some bigger than others. her work took most of the day and the sun was starting to set when she was done.
the first was for plexus. it was made with an emerald as the center. herbs were painted onto shells that were laced onto the necklace with a few earthy beads mixed in. the second was for byr and was made with onyx as the center stone. this one had shells with different elements and weapons painted on them with red beads laced in. the las was for sol, though she doubted he would show or care.
that one was a sapphire center with shells and ocean blue beads. galaxies painted upon the shells and stars on others. she hoped he liked it. another thump made her jump and she looked outside to see a stone nearby. twice today something fell from the sky. was it a warning for her, or just odd luck?
