Eon Allure

It was apparent that during his solitude Eon had neglected to take care of himself. While he was always on the smaller size, he was now emasculated, and the energy and spark he had prior had all but vanished. It could even be seen in his eyes, which now showed a much paler blue than they had before.  Eon had tried to get his life back on track, yet it was proving more difficult than expected. He had a burden weighing on him that he didn’t have before. Well, at least he wasn't aware of it before.  Still, Eon was determined. Perhaps too much for his own good.

The fox had always been good in the air, doing tricks and showing off his flight ability had always been something he had a passion for. Something that drove him forward, and he didn’t have the courage to admit to himself he just didn’t have the strength right now. Things weren’t going as planned, he couldn’t propel himself as he wanted, couldn't go as fast as he wanted, and the adrenaline wasn’t kicking in like it was before. Upon doing flips in the air which he had always done with ease, the feathered appendages which had always carried him without problems had enough, and his left wing would give out on him.

The fallen crashed down into a patch of thicket below. Dirt and debris filled his mouth which he was quick to spit out. “Shit” an annoyed tone escaped his breath as he struggled back to his paws. He wasn’t about to let a fall stop him, but when he went to stretch his wings back out he could feel a hard stinging pain in his joints. There was no way he was getting off the ground, at least not without medical attention.
