it was good that rowan liked to read, though it did worry his mother quite so, that he would be awake late at night to read. as it was, he didn't mind his son reading, he just preferred that it be done with proper light and not when the youth should be asleep. hearing the soft hub-bub of conversation, the napping regent would stir and yawn, stretching out stiff limbs as he rolled over from where he laid by another fireplace, drawing himself to his paws.

yawning, "is it morning or nighttime?", he would ask as he slipped from his stretching and wandered over slowly, exhaustion making his frame heavier than it was. nodding to sebastian with a stifled yawn, "is auberon still not back?", he would ask the demon with a coy grin. he knew what it was like to miss the one person that could bring entertainment among other things to one's life. gazing at his children, he smiled softly, "if you want to read while the sun's down, dear, why don't you use a lantern? the sun doesn't stay up for very long even now."
