The beast lunged from his position, landing onto the vulture with ease and crushing it under his weight. The desert was hardly forgiving, but just this once he managed to have a somewhat decent meal. It was surprisingly easy to find a way past the border, which could only mean good things for Titan. As he crunched down, the gentle hiss of a feline made him pause.

Turning his large head toward the sound, his eyes locked onto the tiny blue feline. It did not seem related to the other winged cats he met days before, so he had little issue with trying to kill it. A deep snarl resonated in him and he started to jump, trying to land on the kitten. But they were small and fast, and he landed on nothing but sand. With a frustrated snarl he turned to where the cat had moved to and lunged again. His paws slammed into its side and he relished in the screech it gave.

Now with a limp, the kitten backed away, hissing and spitting, yet not even making a sound akin to that of a word. How many of these animals couldn't speak!? Titan did not know, nor did he care, as he advanced. But he stopped as another scent hit his nose, followed by heavy, quick footsteps. Discerning the direction of the noises, he turned too late.
