You thought you could go free -

the snails in the oceans had the best shells. some were swirls, some were cones. that was why he decided to hunt them for fun. or, was it something else? the snails he was catching were not for him. no, he was ripping them out of their shells to let them die. the shells, well, they were for vem.

the beast darted along the ocean floor. pulling snails out of the rocks and nooks he could see them in. all sorts of shells. until he decided he was done. a small bag filled to bursting with shells. he was full from eating the things anyways. so, it was time to hit the shore. his fin knifing the waters surface as he slowly made his way to the shore once more.
