Months. That's how long it's been since Icarus had left his home in search of finding somewhere else to reside. His father had up and disappeared and he waited for so long for him to return yet he never did. And food was starting to become scarce so Icarus had no choice but to finally pack up and leave.
Light colored paws drag across the ground, the sound filtering up towards dark ears that flatten to the side as the head their attached to lowers. A soft whine slips past his muzzle, he's growing tired of traveling. He just wants to rest, is that too much to ask for?
Finally the scent of a group drifts across Icarus' path. His head perks up and he's turning in the direction of it, his movements turning into a run. He slows down once he reaches the border, hesitating at the edge but eventually deciding to step over and settle onto his haunches as he awaits for someone to hopefully find him. God he could only hope that they will accept him here.
