Thirty minutes before sunrise, the ocelot trotted over the sandy beach. A basket holding a small stack of paper floated alongside her as she made her way to the Capricorn Tavern. Perhaps this idea was silly, but it put Rosemary in good spirits; the worst part of coming out of her extreme introvert months was trying to find a partner. Any kind of ‘not-friend partner.’
Under the shelter of the Capricorn Tavern’s porch, she placed her basket on the ground. She withdrew a sign from within, leaving a collection of amethyst rocks to keep the thin stack of dating applications from flying away in the wind.
She placed the sign quickly, then trotted away with haste. To Rosemary, setting up such an application process was not embarrassing or daunting. But being seen setting it up? Somehow, that was the most embarrassing possible outcome, and she was not going to let that happen. Otherwise, she might introvert for another month.
