    he missed her deeply. it was a feeling he hated and he had no desire to feel it. the brute moved away from his pool of cool water. flopping in a patch of sun to bask. red eyes closing as he thought about ares. where she had gone? why? he was not okay with being left alone like this. he needed her and he worried something had happened.

was she hurt? if so, who dared to do so? he felt the hot feeling of anger welling up in his belly. causing him to shift his massive form. the mushy sand under him making a sloshing sound as he did so. he wondered if ares even remembered him.
