The marshes had made her paws quite icky, but she had to admit, she enjoyed every bit of it. As her paws would relish the brown mud that would make her feel like she used to.

Then after rolling in the mud for a while she got up. The now brown covered feline would walk her way over to a lake where she would smile before diving in. She had to go find a home soon. She couldnt just keep procrastinating like she used to do. The sun wouldnt wait for her.

So as she finished making her nice little bathe she got up, and decided it was time. One by one she would dig through small holes, interrupting oddly large rabbits or finding creepy holes that her mind couldnt decide on whether to enter or not to enter.

But soon enough she found the perfect place. She stuck her head inside before taking a moment to hesitate. What if this den was just like the rest of them? What if it led to somewhere.. abnormal? Yet the thoughts only made her go deeper into the where she thought was abandoned home.

Though her hope breaks like crystal shards into a million pieces when she sees someone sleeping. That means its taken. But maybe she can just get around, so as she tries walking around, her clumsiness gets the best of her in the dim lighting and she steps on a loose twig, causing a loud gasp to escape her jaws just after the noise of a loud snap.
