Was anyone surprised to see her laying peacefully in a patch of sunlight? Not likely. The woman was known for her calm and elegant form. Known for bringing wisdom and peace to anyone that sought her out. Many others came to her in hard times and she offered comfort or guidance. It seemed that this time was no different.
Times were hard with Rom being hurt. He was weak and couldn't speak. It was a shame. She hated it for him, but Vita had her reasons. He kept his life and Vita took his voice for it. That was how it had to be. Perhaps he would get it one day. He would get his voice back and be happy. She hoped this was so.
She prayed for him as she lay there. Resting in the sun. Her white pelt glowing and her silver stripes glittering. She looked surreal and beautiful. Though she could care less about it. She is not one to worry about herself. As it stood, she was worried for the missing. Worried for Rom. Yet, she had no idea what she could do. Other than being supportive.
So, she opened her eyes and looked up at the sky. Silently wondering what Vita was planning for her home.
