Continuing to console himself, the cheetah muttered to himself underneath his breath. His words were unheard by the others, but one could infer that by his panicked expression, he was full of colorful language, just like his appearance. As his heart pounded in his ears, he could only hear what Always Dead said to him. Was he... okay? Bakari was not so sure. He bit down on his tongue and continued to smile through the pain. "I'm fiiiiine," he slurred. He was so flustered that barely noticed that her voice did not come from her throat, but instead came through his mind.
His colorful gaze shifted towards Always Dead and Jormungand, watching as the dark feline offered their paw out towards the snake. The cheetah shook his head in disapproval. "Harmless," he nervously cackled. A paw raised up from the floor and curled downwards, claws unsheathing on the edges to mimic fangs. He lightly pawed at the air. "Suuuure..." That snake had to have fangs, didn't it?
