graphic gore ★ genderpunk ★ skeletal fox
The vulture looked up. A tendril of festering rot hung from xyr beak; xe tossed xyr head back and gulped down the sliver of decaying flesh. “Hehe, I suppose what’s tasty depends on your species!”

Vale shook out xyr body. Feathers cascaded. The wind stole those pretty baubles, and a skeletal fox stepped out of the shed skin. Xe was now smaller than the vulture had been. A paw kicked the bloated corpse, and then xe hopped closer to Kole.

After Vale abdicated the corpse, the carrion birds swooped in to feast… on Seamus and the shed skin.

“Nahhhh, not gonna throw him in. Xanti wants his bones, yeah? The pelt’s unsalvageable, but the bones? Bones gonna make good memorial art. And the only doctor on this island’s gotta stay in good enough spirits if the lot of us don’t want idiots to start dropping like flies from trivial lil infections, bahahaha!”

The skeletal fox sat next to Kole, leaned over slightly to look at Kole’s face. Empty eye sockets looking at everything and nothing. “Tell me, Kole, how’d you end up Meteor’s boyfriend? ‘Cause you two are adorable, but, damn, you’re a dumbass and he’s a genius, it’s kinda strange, you know?”
