CAIN is the Commander of Blackfall. He was raised by his single mother, Aspen, on the docks of a small merchant town; he was 9 when the world ended, orphaned by the explosions. His proximity to the nuclear meltdowns took their toll, though it would not be until his teenage years that he would discover the results. He was taken in by a military family and raised to be a soldier under the new Crown. However, once his abilities began to develop, Cain struggled to control the darkness within. By 16, he was kicked out of the guard and living in the slums, quickly absorbed the black market. He learned how to fight on the streets, better than he did with the military; he also learned to control his powers. He was known as DREAMWALKER and SILVERTONGUE to many, for both his uncanny ability to dream-walk and his witty way with words. Cain was well-liked by the common people, for his boyish kindness and desire to help everyone; as he grew into his abilities and let the darkness consume a part of his soul, he was well-liked for his ruthless desire to raise them up out of the grips of poverty. At 24, he fought viciously in the rebellion, quickly earning his new name: HARBINGER OF CHAOS. He seemed to revel in the throes of war, and despite his young age, was Commander by the time the war ended and Blackfall had formed. Much as he believed in the nation as envisioned by Prometheus, he despised the monarchy that Axel put in place, considering it a stark reminder of what they were fighting against. When Axel was murdered, he assumed control of Blackfall and dismantled the monarchy system, establishing his leadership.
