Having fully regained his strength following that dreadful entrance ritual, Ilijas only saw it fitting to drop in on the witchdoctor and to talk to her about his suspicions. Lilyspoise. Lil. There had to be some connection between the names, right? The faceless, nameless girl - his dulcis margharita - had chattered so excitedly about a trio of daughters. Lil, Eli, Lissa. He certainly had never come across the latter two but that knowledge did not extinguish his hope. Not yet. Then there came the matter of the wife. Suiteheart was her name if he recalled properly. All three of them had been together at one point, meeting the aforementioned Ascendant on the border as she came to deliver news of a broken alliance. Lilyspoise and Suiteheart certainly hadn't seemed like much of a mother-daughter duo at the time but perhaps they shied away from the concept in the face of the business at hand.

Regardless, Ilijas was determined to get answers and, more importantly, conclude whether or not Lilyspoise was his niece. How strange.
