    He was absolutely, unbelievably, stupid.
Why did he even bother to investigate further here? Maybe it was the.... he moved his paws around in it again. It made his fur wet and made him feel better, but he forgot it’s name. He was used to that by now- going about his day in a practical trance because he didn’t know who or what or why he was... here.

That was, one of his wrists was ensnared, hung high above so the polar bear was on his hind legs. A massive ten feet tall and he’d tried everything. It was a stupid vine, why couldn’t he break this?

It was sipping at his strength. The bear’s body was littered with marks. A line that traveled down his left side, a ring of missing fur around his neck, his right shoulder, and other little lines. They were all old scars. His fur was as yellow as his teeth- even green and brown, absolutely filthy.
When he tried to reach up and bite it, it got in his blind spot and he would miss. His teeth had long lost their sharpness.
He whipped around at a noise. Rotating his head to see all around. The bear bared an eyepatch on his right- it was black, endowed with a blue triangle.

    Anakin.

He’d forgotten his own name. He just remembered Anakin. He remembered Vader and how the lion took care of him. How the lion kept him fed as long as the polar bear did as he was told. Turn into a dragon? Sure! Sit on someone? Sure! Anakin gave him purpose.

Even Anakin was gone now, killed by his own son. It broke his heart and he tried so desperately to, at least, remember Anakin’s last commands. Remember Anakin.

Ivan Zimavich Braginsky, was, unknowingly, attached to Anakin like a dog. That had been Anakin’s original intention for him, but Ivan, in his foolishness and ignorance, was none the wiser.

Of course, that’s how he was here now. The bear knew that Anakin couldn’t rescue him, but the bear was still grunting and snarling.
He felt trapped at that terrified his instincts- he had to break this, he had to.... oh... he settled, his paw still outstretched far from him, and laying on his side, huffing away.
