Being alone and with no family really sucked. He had no one to play with and no one to coddle him when he was feeling down. It was just him and that was all. It was his birthday, for crying out loud, and he was spending it alone! Not for long, he hoped. It was a long trek across the strip of land, the fairly small anaconda slithered beside the railroad, occasionally stopping to lift his head and gauge the distance between him and his desination. Whatever it might be. When he passed by the run down train, he had stopped for several minutes to check it out before moving on. Coming up to the gates, he stepped immediately and lifted his head, small tongue flicking out as he tasted the air. Hm. This place seemed pretty populated! Slithering closer, he avoided the basket on the one side and lifted his head to the bell when he got to the other side. He had to get their attention somehow, so he bopped it with his nose and lowered himself back to the ground while he waited.
