Quiet footsteps would make a trail in the sand as the winged lioness walked onward, her sanguine-hues alert-and-focused. For most of her life, she'd been raised in isolation. Because her father had been a paranoid bastard who feared Athena's true nature would be revealed if she came into contact with the rest of the world. How cruel. He had grown old and he had passed away not too long ago. As for her mother, Athena had no recollection of her. She knew her mother was just like her, not normal. Her father called her and her mothers freaks, but she had read something in a book that called them "Gods". Now that was a interesting and nice-sounding title.
The demi-goddess would walk onward, the line of trees at the oasis finally showing up in her line-of-vision. A small, satisfied smile would tug at both corners of the beautiful female's maw and she would unfold her large, white wings that blended in nicely with her pelt. She would begin to flap them slowly and she would lift herself upward, before she flew towards the oasis. It was a gorgeous place, with the water and all of its' plants if she had to be honest. The lioness would allow both of her large wings to fold at her sides and she would settle down in the shade, not aware of the fact that a group was residing here.
