There existed a treasure cove on this island? Why hadn't anyone gone to loot it yet, then? He'd have to remedy that soon enough, but it wouldn't hurt to figure out what he was getting into first. While he wasn't sure that Khaol's testimony would be completely accurate, as the other creature had only been around for a short time and probably hadn't had time to visit the cove himself, it was better than nothing.
