Welcome to the new site-wide CDC challenge! This will be a new event where every two weeks, a new challenge prompt will be posted to undertake with your characters! This is the one-stop hub for all prompts and entries new and old! All you have to do to participate is to take the prompt and submit a link to your entry (as well as your character name) within the time limit. All enteries will be accepted until midnight PST on the last day of the challenge week. However, before you begin, there are a few ground rules and guidelines!

1. The minimum word count for these prompts is 300 words. You will receive 1,000 gems automatically just for hitting the word count!
2. The maximum amount of gems you can earn for one prompt is 10,000 gems. You will earn 2 gems per word until 2,000 words. After 2,000 words, you will receive 1 gem a word until the max.
3. You may only submit one 'main' entry. You may submit the same prompt on other characters, however, you will only be able to earn the minimum 1,000 gems for 300 words.

Take the following character traits: spontaneous, shy, dishonest, adventurous, ambitious.

Now, challenge yourselves to use all these traits in a scene. In which ways does your character show strengths or weakness in these traits? How quickly do they switch between them, and why? What leads them to be dishonest, or shy? Challenge yourselves to not only think outside the box, but to challenge your character's beliefs, instincts, and morals as well. What do they face that challenges these traits?

TO SUBMIT YOUR ENTRIES: Simply reply to this thread with the link to your prompt, the date of said prompt, as well as the name of the character. A staff member will review and award you with gems as soon as possible.
