Long for Lapping Waves [Bai-Shi]

With his group now disbanded, the bird had more than enough time to himself. He hadn't the need to stretch his wings; simple flaps to the river bend to drink or to his bathroom branch wouldn't do. Bai Shi, the former kingpin and one of his closest friends, was perhaps the only reason he would fly during the day; now he hardly ever visited. Malak wouldn't blame him though, as it was a bit of a walk from the old territory to his tree; and the brambles only made it worse. Truth be told, his tree was getting...cluttered. Lavender stalks were taking surprisingly long to dry this month; so he'd have to string the up on the branches and it was far too windy for none of them to fall.

Malak stifled a scoff as he strung up his ditty bag upon a hook like branch within the hollow, soon stepping down the somewhat spiral ring the lead down to the second half of his home. He opened a small jar labeled "Raspberry" and dug out a few berries with a dark beak and quickly ate them before laying the beeswax paper back over and tieing it off. "Its so quite." hummed the corvid.
