She was unsure of sharing the tree with someone that walked the ground but he seemed to be an amalgamation of fliers as well. Although it was odd for her to witness such creatures. Sharing the skies with them was not ideal given the circumstances. But she could handle herself. Her eyes narrowed though at the kid's words. His feathered two leg comment ruffling her feathers just a bit. "Just what are you getting at?" The avian spoke with cold and calculating words before she tilted her head slightly. She did not like being called that and she lifted a leg almost threatening as if she might actually do something. Though no further movement happened as his next question came forth and paused her motion. The question of how she was so effective at what she did. It took her mind off his words and place them in a better avenue. One that she could be proud of.
"Dedication and hard work. From my home we owls train diligently till we have perfected our attacks and hunting. I was also gifted with control over the air flow. So I'm faster than a normal owl should be." Harder to catch, more nimble. And she continued to train even now. There was always room. For improvement and as long as she continued working she at least had that. But the worry still ate at her. She was wasting time.
