Considering the fact he had been gone for quite some time, Vigenere wasn't too surprised to find his old home dusty and just in general needing of a clean-up. He wasn't too upset about it though, it gave him something to do other than patrol the border for the third time today. And after seeing Elsweyr cleaning up her own home, the savannah decided that it was just about time to do his own spring cleaning.
There was something he should have gotten rid of a long time ago, and that was the dried and wilted flower that Morgan gave him. Vigenere missed his ex-boyfriend but their relationship ended on mutual terms - that didn't mean he didn't wish things were different though, because he absolutely did. They had a son together, and he wished that Alan had stayed with him in Tanglewood. Though if he had done that, Vigenere thought to himself with a frown. He would have saw me getting killed. The boy doesn't need that in his life. No child deserved to see their parent die. With his decision made, Vigenere dragged over a small box and pushed the remains of the dead flower into it.
