IT'S A LONG WAY DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE RIVER.
So many would come and go, had come and gone. It was a simple fact of life she had come to accept, and it no longer brought her any despair. It was a freeing feeling, being able to see someone leave for good and know that the long or short time spent here meant anything. It was the least she could offer any travelers in her days on earth, and boy, it made her proud.
From the center of the camp, Arrow offered a small mock salute and a smile to Chalice. "May you and your family have many happy days ahead, Chal. And don't forget us neither."
