as she was told that her paw injuries weren't serious, she felt her spirits rise a little. she wasn't going to need major treatments. a few days rest was just fine for her. she had no desire to do much of anything. "thank you mia'am.." soft voice offered as she looked up at the woman. it was good to show respect to her elders. or, that was what her mother used to say.
the pup didn't argue as she was lifted and placed on the larger back of laertes. she had no issue being carried. nor did she mind the stories as they headed home. she was enjoying having story time again. it was like having her mother back, but different. her mother always told scary stories, but these weren't like that.
