okay so i have two ideas

The sleeper word idea when tsuyu gets too.. unstable and tries to kill a fellow pittian or innocent, that causes her to go rigid and unmoving until Valkyr releases her or something

OR

He can fuck with her by causing illusions of a storm or electricity based fears, as that's her biggest traumatic fear: electricity & lightning

I think the sleeper word is more plot inducing, as it'll turn into Valkyr being the only one who can calm Tsuyu down forcefully when shes having a psychotic fit or something. She'll hate him even more for getting into her head like that and the hatred between these two could grow from there.

OKAY so ik you said he could change memories, but could he possibly pull memories to the surface & make a character relive their traumas/remember something they previously didn't ? because that would be a Mess™

It is possible that he could dig deep into someone’s consciousness and drag up things better left forgotten! Yep yep! It could even be an accident tbh

he doesn't necessarily have to capture him but attack him could work. He could attempt to try and change his memories but accidentally unearth the ones that shouldn't be.
