Title Discussion

So I decided to make this thread because I wanted to flesh out an idea for titles that I had and I wasn't quite sure where to put it and I couldn't send it on discord because it was a little too long lol. Feel free to share your ideas in here as well so that everything we have is in one place, if you'd like to!

So basically my idea was that for titles each member would get a necklace and then they'd get tiny wooden statues/charms to put on the necklace. Members wouldn't be required to wear the necklace if they didn't want it but I thought it'd be a unique item for Snowbound to have while tying in with their sort of tribal theme. Because BOB doesn't currently have a badges system, I thought this'd be a cool way for members to show off which titles they've gotten both ICly and in tags and whatnot. I also thought it'd be interesting if there was some sort of celebration outside of a meeting for tags? Like maybe the little statues could also hold spiritual significance so they have a seperate festival once a month at the end of the month to award the titles and just celebrate in general.

Maybe for a plot to help tie this (and other religious aspects of the caln) in someone (possibly someone in frosthealer/tenderfoot branch of things once we get it more established because I believe the guide says they're supposed to help handle religious gatherings and whatnot) could start getting dreams/visions of the ancestors and they could give them the symbols/some of the first charms and necklaces as an example and from that day on they're aware of the ancestors and we could build to bigger plots to do with the religion.

Anyway, so below I fleshed out the idea itself a little more. I wasn't sure if we'd want the charms to be animals or symbols/nature/etc so if we want to go with a different theme that'd be fine too! I just wanted to throw a quick demo of what it might looks like/be.

Animals

Duckling: This would be given to new members who show promise. A duckling is given to them because, like ducklings, they are new to the clan and have much potential but it's not clear how they'll grow.

Bear: The lion is given to members who have shown great bravery and prowess in battle.

Rabbit: Given to members who are exceptionally outgoing and go out of their way to make others feel welcome.

Raven: Given to members who have proven to be skilled strategists. Whether it comes to battles, gathering information, or infiltrating an enemy camp, these are the ones who devise the plans.

Bee: Given to members who have shown skills in healing, whether or not they have a rank for it.

Dolphin: Given to members who frequently present new ideas and help with various events in the clan.

Tortoise: Given to members who have been actively involved in Snowbound for six months.

Dragon: Given to member who have been actively involved in Snowbound for one year.

Lion: Given to members who have gotten all the other charms.

hhh i dont have any ideas for the actual charms or anything bc im a v tired, stressed moron, but do we have specific ideas for what happens during the festival?? idk, it just feels like smthing that shld be smthing beyond handing out charms so???? i have sm ideas but i guess i want to know what the mood/themes wld be first.

uhh idk tbh. we'd want it to be different than the aurora/camping festival thing they hold. maybe like they have to go through a certain process to get the pendents?? like they're told at meetings which ones they'll get throughout the month and then there are certain challenges they have to face to actually get them? idk what it'd be exactly tho because we wouldn't want different ones for each title because that'd make the thread a lil chaotic imo

Hmmm maybe someone could be given a title in the meeting, but kind of have to go on a scavenger hunt in a separate thread if they want to get a pendant, and if they don't do that within a certain span of time they lose their title? And they could be given hints to where their pendant is, or even like a small riddle if anything : D Which could be pretty cool, bc it would also mean those that were given titles are willing to stay active enough to make the thread.

hmm this is pretty neat!
though maybe if you wanted to make the animal charms sound 'fancy' you could go with the scientific/latin names?

i.e bear is 'Ursa', Lion is 'leo', dragon is 'draco' etc etc.
