    now, this was not how she wanted her day to go. she had been eating nectar as always. flitting about until the shadow swooped over her. she moved in time to see her meal destroyed. fear setting in she darted away from the hawk. glancing back to see it following, she would dart between trees in search for her escape.

soon, she was near the home of someone. she had no idea who, but she ducked under the porch in time for the hawk to narrowly miss her.

a crash into her door made the female spin and she opened it to find a very dazed hawk lying on her porch, beautiful feathers scattered everywhere. the animal was still breathing, but inferno soon took care of that, delivering a swift blow to the back of the head that rendered the animal unconscious. severing access to fresh oxygen by applying sharp pressure to the neck the female smiled at her own handiwork. she could mount the animal, or stuff it, or do a thousand things. putting the bird somewhere back in her house she stepped onto the porch and began collecting the feathers.

    the hawk was taken care of in a flash and wasp landed on the railing to look at inferno as she collected feathers. head tilting slightly as she watched a moment more. hey. thanks for that. she finally spoke as she stretched her tired wings.
