WHO IS THIS IRRESISTABLE CREATURE - ꧂
the woman heard the sounds of a struggle and decided to go to it. the paws moving forward to the sight of maggotsdream under attack by a strange male cheetah. she reacted more than she thought. the mother moved forward and slammed her body full force into the male. knocking him away from her son and postitioning her wiry frame over the cub.
emotionless eyes locked on the stranger as he got back to his paws and faced her. 'who do you think you are?' the trespasser hissed at her. the woman eyed him emotionlessly as her son leaned against her leg. hiding under her and clearly scared. his mother. voice void of emotion replied in that dead tone.
the male narrowed his eyes and leaps at her. taking her off her paws and backwards. she hiss, an oddly dead tone as she kicked up into his belly with both hind paws. tossing him into the air and rolling free as he fell back to the ground. blood dripping from her shoulders and chest. 'if i died, people would at least miss me. who is going to miss afreak like you or him?'
she did not flinch at his words as she watched her cub taking shelter behind a small stone nearby. her eyes returned to him and she blinked those dead optics. you are under the impression i care if i am missed. the fact is, i don't. nor do i care if you will be missed once i rip your throat from your scrawny frame.
she surged forward and the duo locked into a deadly fray. fur and blood staining the earth. it was not long before the trespasser lay on the earth. throat torn open and his blood staining her paws. are you okay maggot? her cuts and gashes bleeding did not seem to bother her as she turned her gaze back to her son.
he came over to her and she lowered her head to lick his injured scruff. ignoring her own injuries to check on his. still emotionless and acting as she thought any mother should be.
