A yawn parted liquor colored lips as the woman stretched out her legs, shifting and twisting as she slowly came back to her senses. The ground smoldering gently around her, floor blackened by an intense fire that was kept tamed and within the area around her. Smoke seeped and slithered up from her paws as they finally opened their eyes, the fiery color of red and orange bright as she got up from where she had been laying. For a moment the oriental paused there, blinking and looking around. Things seemed....bigger than she remembered them being. Hih... With a light step forward she moved to the door of the house. Shoving it wide open, grunting at the force that was needed to even get it open to begin with. A little unnerved she looked down at herself, greeted with thick ink colored fur and smoke that seemed to contort and seep from her own body. Another change this time? But this one had not hurt. Yet she didn't feel like herself.

Narrowing her gaze a bit the woman slowly sat down on the porch. The former Luminary had grown tired, she hadn't been the push that Tanglewood had needed and she knew that, perhaps sleep had been good for her after all. A smile curved their lips as they close their eyes for a short moment. Guess it was time to get back to it then.

Elsweyr suddenly stepping down came as a shock to Atbash (and seemingly everyone else as well, other than Arrow), not to mention how the lioness wasn't around anymore. Arrow hadn't said anything about Elsweyr leaving, just that the Luminary was stepping down - and honestly, who could blame her? Leading was stressful as hell, and that kitting Elsweyr went through hadn't been entirely peaceful, either.

The sight of an unfamiliar figure resting on the former Luminary's porch had Atbash curious though, and she approached the oriental she-cat with a tilted head. She opened her mouth to speak before realizing that the other feline was trying to sleep, and closed her mouth for a moment. I don't think she's one of Els's and Arrow's kids. The savannah thought to herself, before trying to gently prod XIBALBA with a paw. "You probably shouldn't be sleeping here." She mused in a soft tone, speaking after her attempt to wake Xibalba up (regardless if she was able to or not). "This is Elsweyr and Arrow's home. D'ya need help finding a place?"

Slowly her gaze opened, her sleepiness slowly pulling away like a heavy veil. Blinking slowly the woman would tilt her head a bit as she felt the prodding against her figure. It seemed someone was trying to catch her attention and the tall oriental pushed herself to sit up just a bit. The voice was familiar and the words even more so. The sudden laugh that bubbled up from her throat was gentle and warm as she twisted herself to look at Atbash. "Yes, she knows. This is her home." She mused as she looked down at herself and it dawned on her. Right. She had not been seen for a bit and to come out in a different body left others unaware. "She is, uh, she is Elsweyr. Just different." New figure of ink and darkness, smoke drifting like smoke from her figure but it moved restlessly like it was alive. Still she was glad to be here and she turned slightly to show herself to Atbash. "She changed shape but not like last time. It was more quiet."

here was somebody laying on the porch of his home claiming to be his mother. tilting his head he padded over after atbash. surely who should know a woman the best is her son, right? "what is my name then? and what are the names of my siblings, if you are elsweyr?" not many people knew them but his mother should  know him the best.

Humor flicked in her gaze and though perhaps this should hurt it did not. Her feelings were more...lessened. The first time she had been accused of not being herself was by Ares and that had hurt greatly. She had spend many days separating herself from the rest of Tanglewood after that. Feeling her own despair for something she had no control over. Here she just felt comfortable with her own being and so she looked at her son, only with a hint of amusement flicking in her molten gaze. "It would be rude of her not to know the names of her own children, yes? It would most certainly make her a bad mother. Stefflon, Lucinder, Ko'nari and..." She paused there, gently and glanced off to the side where the small black cub was watching from a distance. He looked almost confused but then a look of knowing passed over his face. A smile flicked across her muzzle as she beckoned him over before she gently pressed her muzzle against Nefertiti's ear. "And little Nefertiti here. All are her wonderful children."

Ares approached the porch, hearing the three there and deciding to see what was happening. Was this actually her mother? Was this Pretty-mother? "Pretty-Mother, do you remember my name?" She tried the endearing title on the newcomer. It... didn't entirely fit? But oh well, maybe she'd grow into the name, maybe she was still her pretty mother.

hm, so their names she knew. "is your scent still the same?" he wondered out loud, training the only thing forcing himself to sit still and not approach to take a sniff. tilted his head at the look exchanged between her and nefertiti, he wanted something like that too. his gaze darkened as he saw the smile. all he wanted was somebody to care for him so much they had a secret signal they could give each other. he wanted that sort of bond with somebody. looked at ares as she approached, asking her na,e.
