[glow=teal,2,300]"That being said, we are beginning a tentative alliance with the Pitt.  It looks they're under... semi?... new management and the new Ardent would like our help doing some reforestation work.  We are going to be cordial as we enter into this partnership and I'll hear no complaints about it, okay?  We are also neutral, but okay with the Coalition and the Typhoon!  Maybe with the help of our lovely ambassadors, we'll have some more friends around the island."[/glow]

the voice was not one he knew, but the call to gather brought him anyways. this must have been the leader of the group, but the kid had not met them. a stranger to the young male, but he figured his father would show and all would be fine. the female spoke further and his name was mentioned. that caught the young snappers attention. his eyes locked onto her fully as he was welcomed to the group.

she was welcoming people and thanking them for being social. he was confused by all of this, but he stayed put to listen. the child was not sure what all was going on, really. it all seemed so strange in his mind. yet, he held onto the hope his dad would be there soon. he was mentioned, after all.

He was stuck in this ridiculously small body now, a feline amongst a sea of mysterious creatures. Oh, how he could practically spit upon himself. Whatever. Trotting near at the call for a meeting, the now significantly smaller feline would sit down and curl his tail around his paws. It was almost a relief to see their leader up there talking. After all, without them it had been much too quiet.

Cory smiled as he was appointed an ambassador, nodding his head gingerly. This was an important role to him, so he’d be sure to do his very best. Not to mention, all the promotions? Excellent.

She sat down next to Cory, taking the moment to glance at his outline, new as it may be, before returning her attention to the lumiary. Welcomes and promotions were out of the way, but a wide smile crossed her face as she was announced as the Medical Reaper. She hoped she spoke for Kiara and Ragnar as well when she said, "I won't let you down, Firefly."

communal reaper? how interesting. she'd need to check up with what reapers did, but it sounded important, so with a grin the female rose to her paws and dipped her neck gracefully at the leader. after all, it was her job to get more and more, wasn't it?

Ximen huffed, cracking open one eye to watch the fuzzy shapes gather for the meeting. If Els were still luminary, he would’ve made more of an effort, but ever since her murder, he’d focused on raising his sister’s cubs and napping. Probably why he didn’t recognize a few of the names shouted out for promotions.

He would’ve called out congratulations, but he had a personal policy not to waste his energy on false enthusiasm. So he yawned instead.
